Italy is Open! November 2021

I had the good fortune to spend the month of September 2021 in Italy. I felt instant relief upon landing after some unpredictable travel

forecasts with the current world situation. I was not able to guide a tour this year because of the unknowns, but had the opportunity to do some research for next year. Some of the highlights were: helping to cut grapes in a friend's vineyard, a visit to a Reggiano Parmigiano dairy for a tour of this fascinating process and tasting, a brilliant sunny day exploring the Santo Spirito neighborhood in Florence and two day trips to my favorite town of art galleries, people watching and shopping...Pietrasanta. Join me next year in June or September. September is getting full but June is also a lovely time to visit the Italian Riviera.
